To qualify for a grant from Good Works Foundation, your activity must be in one of the following areas: the arts, the environment, social action, or education. We prefer to fund grassroots organizations and innovative ideas in the Los Angeles area. 

You must be non profit or have a suitable sponsor and supply a copy of your/its 501(c)(3) determination from IRS.

To initiate the process, submit an inquiry by email in which you:

• Summarize your organizational mission
• Briefly describe the purposes for which money is requested and the intended impact 
• State the amount you intend to request
• List key participants/project director(s)
• State any connection to Good Works staff or board members
• Provide a link to your website

Inquiries may be submitted at any time and will normally be addressed within a few weeks. If we find coincidence between your request and our mission, and if funds are available, we shall ask you to apply. If asked to apply, your request will be considered at the next of four annual reviews.
