She is actively involved on the boards of Los Angeles Opera, New Visions Foundation, and the Institute for Individual and World Peace. She has recently retired as a trustee for Sarah Lawrence College and is chairperson of the Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation board.
Board member Philip Yenawine is also on the boards of the Santa Monica Museum of Art and Art Matters. He has worked for four decades in and with museums trying to connect people to art. He was director of education at MOMA, NY for ten years. He is currently Co-Founding Director of Visual Understanding in Education, a research entity that develops programs for schools, using art to teach thinking and communication skills.
